Connect and sync Ad Spend from your Marketing Channels
If you run ads on online marketing channels like Facebook, TikTok, Google, etc., make sure to connect them with TrueProfit to sync ad spend automatically. At the moment, TrueProfit is supporting ad spend sync from Facebook, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft (Bing), Amazon, and X (Twitter).
Once you connect a Marketing Channel, TrueProfit will sync your ad spend data from either the date your store was created or up to the last 3 years, whichever is more recent.
At the moment, TrueProfit doesn't support ad spend sync for the following ad campaigns: Google Discovery Ads, Google Performance Max, Google Shopping, and Bing Performance Max.
In the left menu, click on Marketing Channels in the Integrations section.
In the Integrate marketing channels page, you will find all the ad channels and available accounts that you can connect to TrueProfit based on your plan.
The process of connecting any channel you are using is all similar to each other. Let's go through connecting a Facebook ad account as an example. First, click on Connect
You will be redirected to the connecting page of the channel you chose
Complete the connection process and go back to TrueProfit app, click the Manage button
Once your platform account is connected successfully, all of your active ad accounts will be displayed on the Manage account page.
In an ad account, you might have many account IDs, to sync ad spend from the correct ad accounts, make sure to check the Active checkbox and then click Sync ad spend
After you've clicked on Sync ad spend, please wait a few minutes for the app to sync your ad spend fully. You can check the process in the Notifications bell
When your ad spend is done syncing, you will see the Ad Spend by Channel data on your Dashboard.
If you remove a connected ad account from TrueProfit, all synced ad spend data will also be erased in the app
If your ad spend stops syncing from a connected channel, there might be an expired connection token for that channel. Here's how to reconnect a marketing platform with TrueProfit:
Click on Manage to go to the Manage account page for your ad channel
For platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Amazon, you can click the Reconnect button to refresh the token and resume ad spend sync
