How to connect CJ Dropshipping with TrueProfit
If you are using CJ Dropshipping as the supplier for your Shopify store, connect it to TrueProfit now to auto-sync costs for your store accurately and effortlessly. To start connecting your CJ Dropshipping account with TrueProfit, open the Dropshipping Platforms page in the Integrations section.
Please note that TrueProfit will sync orders have the following statuses: Unshipped, Shipped, and Delivered.
Before connecting, make sure you are using the same CJ Dropshipping account for your Shopify store to get products from the CJ Dropshipping platform. Using the same CJ Dropshipping account makes sure the syncing function works accurately.
In the Integrate dropshipping platforms page, you will find CJ Dropshipping as an available platform
Click Connect for CJ Dropshipping
In the pop-up modal, enter the email address that you use to log in on CJ Dropshipping.
Next, retrieve the API Key from your CJ Dropshipping account.
Open CJ Dropshipping website, make sure you are signed in to your account
Click on My CJ button in the top bar
From the left side bar, hover your mouse on the Authorization card and select API
Switch the tab to API Key, then click Generate
Copy the newly generated API Key and paste it into TrueProfit to complete connecting with CJ Dropshipping.
When you've finished the connection step, TrueProfit will begin verifying your CJ Dropshipping account information. If both the email and API Key are correct, TrueProfit will begin syncing your order data from CJ Dropshipping and match it with orders from Shopify.
After the first order sync from CJ Dropshipping, TrueProfit will check and auto sync all new orders (if any) every 5 minutes for your store. If there is a typo in the email or API Key you entered, please wait at least 5 minutes to retry your correct email and key. This is due to CJ Dropshipping's limitations.
After a few minutes of data sync, you can check the data of synced orders from CJ Dropshipping in the Orders Report page. If an order has matching CJ Dropshipping source, you can see the platform's icon displayed on the COGS and Shipping Cost fields of that order.
Please note that if the costs of an order use the synced data from CJ Dropshipping, you cannot manually edit the COGS and Shipping Cost values anymore. This will ensure your cost calculations are correct and auto-synced.
In case there was a typo in the API Key you entered to TrueProfit, please wait at least 5 minutes before trying to reconnect with CJ Dropshipping. To disconnect your current CJ Dropshipping account, please follow the gif below.
