How to get Revenue (UTM) data for the Ad Spend by Channel chart
In the Dashboard, you can track your ad spend and revenue based on the tracking UTM in the Ad Spend by Channel chart. Currently, TrueProfit uses the first-click attribution for your UTM-based Revenue metric in this chart.
Note: The Revenue (UTM) data can only be retrieved if you have added the UTM campaign source in your marketing campaigns.
For example, here's a product URL with a UTM parameters for campaign source:
http://example.com/product-link?utm_source=facebook
A UTM parameters for campaign source informs you which website is sending you traffic. The parameter above is a generic UTM that will work with all links you post to your Facebook page, helping you track all traffic that comes from Facebook. Similarly, you can change "facebook" to "google", "tiktok" or any channel that you are running ads on to track Revenue effectively on TrueProfit.
