P&L Report for Amazon Stores

The Profit & Loss (P&L) Report for Amazon sellers gives you an overview of your stores' financial status within a chosen period. You can find the P&L Report in the
Dashboard dropdown.

What's Included in the P&L Report



Date Range Picker

Choose a date range from the top right-corner menu to view the data in a specific period. You can also pick a custom range in any way you want.

Once you've chosen a date range, you can choose to view the dashboard in Daily, Weekly, or Monthly periods. How the table is displayed will depend on the length of the chosen period.

Table Metrics

Here's the list of the metrics included in the dashboard:

Revenue: The final money you receive from customers
Net profit: Your total income after deducting all costs.
Net profit margin: Your business's profitability when comparing net income to sales revenue. The higher the margin rate, the more profitable you are for each dollar spent.
Orders: The total number of orders placed within the selected period.
Units Sold: The total number of units sold within the selected period.
Cost of Goods Sold: Cost of goods sold (COGS) is the direct cost of manufacturing your products.
Advertising Cost: Consists of: Amazon Ads, Promotions, and Coupon Redemption Fee.
Refunds: The total refunded units.
Refund Cost: The fees when a buyer refunds their order. The refund cost consists of: Refunded Amount (The money refunded to your customer), Refunded Referral Fee (The Referral Fee you get back from Amazon), Refunded Commission (the fee for processing the refund, charged by Amazon).
Inventory Fees: Consist of: Storage Fees and Inbound Transportation (the fee for transporting your products between Amazon's fulfillment centers)
Amazon Plan: Amazon's subscription fee. The Individual plan costs $0.99 per unit sold, and the Professional plan costs $39.99 per month no matter how many units you sell.

Understanding the P&L Report



Your data in the two metrics Revenue and Net Profit is compared with its previous period, and changes are displayed in a percentage number.
The Total column at the right end of the table will sum all of your data in the chosen time range.



You can export the data of the P&L Report of your stores in .csv or .xlsx format to download to your computer.
