How to create a TrueProfit account and invite team members

TrueProfit's User System helps you manage multiple stores with one account. You can also collaborate with other users by inviting to your store's dashboard and assigning them a role.

Creating a new TrueProfit account

A TrueProfit account helps you add and manage multiple stores in one session. Plus, having other people to co-manage your business in the same TrueProfit dashboard. If you used your Shopify domain to start using TrueProfit, here's how to create a TrueProfit account for your store:

Sign in to TrueProfit using your Shopify domain
Click on the More icon in the upper left corner
Click Create Account

Enter your email address and password, click Create Account

Once done, this account will be linked to your store(s).

Once your store is linked with a TrueProfit account, you can only sign in using your TrueProfit account and no longer your Shopify domain name.

Adding a new store

If you're running more than one store on Shopify, you can add all of them to TrueProfit. However, each store needs to subscribe to a separate TrueProfit plan.

Click on the More icon in the upper left corner, click Manage Store

Click the Add Store button, you can also do this quickly by clicking on the multistore dropdown and click Add Store

Enter the details required to complete adding a new store to your TrueProfit account.

Viewing and Switching Between Multiple Stores

If you are on your Shopify admin, click on Native app to open the TrueProfit standalone app. On the top left corner, there's a dropdown menu for switching between your added stores.

You can also choose to view the All store dashboard - where you can view a comprehensive dashboard of all your added stores on Shopify and Amazon.

Adding a New User

To add a new user, go to your Manage Stores settings, click Add User.

You will then enter the email address, assign a role (Admin, Access to Reports, or Cost Editor) to the new user.

Finally, choose the store(s) for the new user to collaborate with you. Then click Add.

The new user will receive an invitation email. Once they "Accept" your invitation, they will have to create an account before accessing to TrueProfit.

Managing Your Account

At the Manage Stores Page, you will see all of your stores. Click on each store to see all users who are co-managing that store. 

You can change a user role by clicking Edit; or removing a a user from that store by clicking Remove
